Are there any good beaches in Split that are easy to get to from the cruise port? The one at about 2/3 of the way through this is about 10 minutes walk from the Palace. It's not the greatest beach you'll ever see but it's perfectly adequate for a swim on a hot day. Daniela32 Posted April 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2016 (edited) Considering that Split is actually a peninsula, we have kilometers of wonderful pebble beaches all around Split, reachable in 5-10 minutes with car/taxi or public bus. Just ask your taxi driver to take you there and set the time when he will pick you up from there. You may ask him to take you to the beach near Radisson Blu hotel. Do you have any idea how much they charge for chairs and an umbrella? Is the taxi to the Radisson beach expensive? Fran
Daniela32 Posted May 15, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 15, 2016 I'm sorry but I've no idea. I take my own umbrella and my own car. But it should be less expensive than in Italy. You can take public bus no. 17 to go very near.
