granni10 Posted April 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2016 I have just read on cruise critic message board that there are no hairdryers or refrigerators in the inside cabins has anyone just returned from their cruise and found that to be true? Thanks for the any input.

cruiseonthebrain Posted April 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2016 Both true. You can ask the cabin steward for a hair dryer- but I would recommend packing your own. The onboard dryers tend to be pretty crummy and they could not have enough of them.
kpadalik Posted April 27, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2016 Are there hairdryers and refrigerators in the outside cabins on the Fantasy? And are the hairdryers regular ones, or those tube looking things?
MtnDweller Posted April 27, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 27, 2016 Are there hairdryers and refrigerators in the outside cabins on the Fantasy? And are the hairdryers regular ones, or those tube looking things? No hairdryer or fridge in any of the rooms except for the suites. From CCL's web site: "Hair Dryers A 1250-watt hair dryer is provided in all staterooms and suites (either in the bathroom or on the desk/vanity) on the following ships: Carnival Breeze, Carnival Conquest, Carnival Dream, Carnival Freedom, Carnival Glory, Carnival Legend, Carnival Liberty, Carnival Magic, Carnival Miracle, Carnival Pride, Carnival Spirit, Carnival Splendor, Carnival Sunshine, Carnival Triumph, Carnival Victory, Carnival Valor and Carnival Vista. On the following ships, a 1250-watt hair dryer is provided in the Grand Suites and Extended Balcony Suites: Carnival Ecstasy, Carnival Fantasy, Carnival Fascination, Carnival Imagination and Carnival Inspiration." ScoobySue2 Posted May 3, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 3, 2016 Both are true. I just sailed on the Fantasy last week. I did have to ask for a hairdryer and it was "decent."
TerpAlum Posted June 5, 2016 #7 Share Posted June 5, 2016 Just got off Fantasy with two rooms on M level, one inside and one outside. Both had hair dryers - they were inside a drawer next to bed.
bike1964 Posted November 9, 2016 #8 Share Posted November 9, 2016 I would hope that since they spent thousands of dollars on a 2.0 upgrade to this ship, surely they would have a hair dryer in every cabin?
