NCL Epic - NFL Network?

First-time poster, soon-to-be second-time cruise passenger.

 

I am booked on NCL Epic for a late fall excursion, and I am wondering if they have a sports bar where I can catch an NFL game on NFL Network (evening game). Can somebody who has recently been on Epic help?

The Epic is in Europe until the TA 10/30/16 - 11/12/16, so unlikely US Football will be on before then.

 

However, after 11/12/16 they may show the Thursday night game.

 

When I was on the Getaway on 9/17/15 the Daily showed the game to be on*** "Satellite Permitting".

The broadcast came on during the last 10 minutes of the game, many people were upset.

This was the evening of day 6, a day at sea between Tortola (day 5) and Nassau (day 7).

 

Based on that experience, I would guess that they will try to show it with the same ***.

I'm pretty sure they won't get NFL network.

Just looked at the NFL schedule.

 

Anything before Nov 12, agree totally with LrgPizza. (Love that name BTW!)

 

Nov 10th - doubt it, not back in US by then.

 

Nov 17th - possible, same *** as I posted before.

 

Anything after that would not be "late fall" imo.

We sailed last September on the Epic and then on the Jade the following weekend. We were out of luck with American Football on both ships, unfortunately. We did get to see a NE Patriot game on one of the ships, but I don't remember which sailing it was on.

 

There were plenty of soccer games on! You can get a wifi package and possibly stream games(?) but there is the time difference if you want it live. Otherwise, you can get game highlights?

In Europe they have the Sports 24 TV channel, you can look up its schedule online. O'sheehans is the 'sports' bar. It's also only shows Sports24
