San Juan hotel and rental car

I would like to know how far away Dorado hotels are from San Juan airport and how far away the pier or port is from Dorado hotels namely the Hyatt Dorado Beach Resort. Also, does anyone know whether I can pickup a rental car at San Juan aiport and drop it off at the pier or port where my cruise is, or perhaps get a shuttle there from the rental car company?

Its a 45+ min drive from the airport to Dorado, about the same to the pier. I know Charlies Car rental will let you drop a car off and shuttle you to the pier. Im sure the other rental agencies also have similar arragements.

Also (here I go again) go to your bookstore and check out Frommers Caribbean Ports of Call. Get the 5th edition (latest printing). It will have ALL THE INFO YOU NEED ON ANY OF THE PORTS IN THE CARIBBEAN and some info you may not need. Best investment you could make for your vacation.

 

I havent been there yet !!! but you can rent a car from Hertz at airport and drop it off at Sheraton Old San Juan. We are renting one just for the day to drive to El Yunque (rainforest) and are using the Sheraton location to pickup and drop off as it is near our hotel.
