CRUISEBOY305 Posted May 3, 2016 Author #29 Share Posted May 3, 2016 I noticed Triple Sec on the Drinks' Menu. This is not on the Corporate approval list and was not on the Brilliance's Drink Menu a month ago. However, the Brilliance HD did allow it in the CL when I asked for it. I've e-mailed corporate to see if I can get it to be a regular item on all ships. Freedom will not allow it in either lounge. It's an important ingredient in Margaritas and Cosmo which my wife drinks as well as many of our friends. Hopefully others will help push for this upgrade to the Drinks' Menu. BTW, we had no problem getting it in the CL on the Serenade. I don't recall ever having issues getting tripe sec in the DL or CL. Now if you goto another bar, they MAY use 2 of your 3 daily drink vouchers. One for the triple sec and one for the liquor. But that's really not consistent.
CRUISEBOY305 Posted May 3, 2016 Author #30 Share Posted May 3, 2016 I flew into Tampa late at night the day before cruise (from Miami). Flight was delayed (shocker) so arrived around midnight. Stayed at the Extended Stay near the airport. Not a terrible option. my major complaint is that the halls reeked of cigarettes. Other than that, a decent inexpensive option. CRUISEBOY305 Posted May 3, 2016 Author #33 Share Posted May 3, 2016 (edited) took an Uber from the hotel to the port. The cost was just under $15  Was checked in by 10:30am and was on board a little after 11am I had friends on board from the sailing prior that were waiting for me so I didn't do much sightseeing in Tampa. I'm afraid these are the only photos of Tampa I have Edited May 3, 2016 by CRUISEBOY305

RD64 Posted May 3, 2016 #49 Share Posted May 3, 2016 Cruiseboy What are your thoughts on the cabin? It looks so small for a "large". Sadly they seem so dated too - its too bad that in the last refurbishment they didn't update the cabins as well.

Sadly they seem so dated too - its too bad that in the last refurbishment they didn't update the cabins as well. the cabins on Vision are small by today's standards. It personally doesn't bother me. I'm hardly ever in my cabin. I've stopped booking balcony cabins because it was becoming a waste.
