Cruiserkenn Posted May 9, 2016 #26 Share Posted May 9, 2016 I agree with Coral, that the Promenade is a great place. Try it! I also agree with Norb's Niece, that everyone doesn't have a balcony. I have been on 14 Alaska cruises, and my first three were balcony-less. Princess has this way of giving upgrades, and once upgraded to a balcony, you are pretty well hooked:) Enjoy Alaska! gfolchick Posted May 10, 2016 #28 Share Posted May 10, 2016 You can also have nice views forward on Emerald deck which is accessed from the stairs up from the Promenade deck or the door all the way forward at the end of the Emerald deck hallways. This area is covered if you have rain. We did some viewing in Tracy Arm from there. There is an exit from Emerald Forward to Promenade Upper Deck on 8? We have a forward room (E105) and this would be ideal but on the deck plans I don't see where that door is located.
