Getting the most out of Diamond internet coupon

Going on Freedom next week and would like to know the best way to get the most out of the Diamond internet coupon. I'm not interested in being online all week, just to be able to have access a couple of days. Would probably just be checking email and facebook but know that the Surf and Stream is an option as well. Due to life getting in the way this is our first cruise in 4 years (but there will be many more now!) and I admittedly haven't paid any attention the this aspect. Plus with Voom having the two options, Surf and the Surf & Stream, I also don't know everything there is to know. Thanks!

You each get one free 24 hour period of unlimited internet, so if all you want is a couple of days, just use your free days.

As a couple you can get coverage on 4 days by starting your diamond coupon mid day and checking in late on day 1 and early on day 2. Wife plans around known port days where we will have plenty of phone access to check in, and also makes sure one of the coupons is in effect when we have to check in 24 hrs before flight times. On a 7 day cruise, 2 24 hour periods is plenty for us.
