help picking excursion...

The last time we went to Georgetown, GC we did the stingray excursion thru Nativeway. They take you on a nice pontoon boat with a shaded canopy and a restroom to the stingray sandbar. It's a sandbar out in the ocean where the water is waist deep. The stingrays are as gentle as puppies and they rub all over you. You can even hand feed them. Our 5 and 7 year old girls enjoyed it so much that they wanted to take a baby stingray home to live in the bathtub. There were a number of people in their 60's and 70's on this tour who seemed to really enjoy it. And at only $30 per person, you can't beat the price or the personalized attention you get in the smaller group setting. You can go to www.nativewaywatersports.com to read up on this excursion or any others they offer. They are highly recommended here at cruise critic.:)

Or you can do what we're going to do this time around in Grand Cayman. We're going to rent a car for the day and visit all of the sights including the turtle farm and Hell. It costs $5 per person to take a taxi over to 7 mile beach or any other touristy places nearby. That would be $20 each way for our family of 4. For only $40 we can rent a car for the day at Budget car rental which is located at the pier. You can go to www.caymancars.com and check out budgets prices. ;)
