fsuhockette Posted May 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2016 My boys will be 8 & 9 years old when we sail. I know they'll want to stay together. Will they let the 8yo move up or the 9yo move down? TIA!

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't, depends on the number of kids in the different groups.
dcgrumpy Posted May 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 16, 2016 Like clarea said, it depends. On our cruise on IOS last year there weren't many kids so they let a few 8 year olds move up with their siblings.
Lerin Posted May 16, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 16, 2016 Looks like you may be sailing outside of school breaks? If so, then there is a very good chance they will put kids in ages 6-11 together. On our cruise 2 weeks ago this is what they did. They were quite lenient with moving kids around due to parent requests too. They said it was because there were only 300 people on board under age 18. During school holidays that number is over 1000 so they are quite strict. On the first day for registration just go and ask. Prepare your kids in advance in case the answer is no.
