Sharps Container

I have never had a problem getting a container fro the room steward. I also carry my own bottle to store used needles, because most hotels don't offer a safe container.

A bit off track, but being Type 2, having a pacemaker, on warifin, and have a new knee, i had dog tags made that state those facts including the pacers make & model as well as the leads. Wear them all the time, you just never know when it could come in handy

I do Forteo injections daily. I just asked for a sharps container from the steward. My husband uses a cpap machine and we asked for distilled water through the site...they have never had it in the room, we always have to ask for it from the Steward anyway.

The container wasn't in my room when I got on board last week but all I had to do was ask Ben, my room steward for one and he had it there in about 10 minutes. :)

This is common...your Steward will come in and greet you and put any such requests on the clipboard. Upon your return everything will be waiting for you.

I don't remember if I ever asked this, but is the refridgerator in the stateroom cold enough to keep insulin at its proper temperature. I know I can get a sharps container from the room attendant.
