Millenia98 Posted May 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2016 I'm being quoted 67 Euros (no matter the time) for last Saturday in August. Does this price look correct? Is there a specific time I should buy train tickets (for example, I may be too early)?
Langoustine Posted May 18, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2016 Where are you looking? On the SNCF website right now, I am seeing 2nd class tickets at prices from 35 to 47 Euro (these are non-refundable; more flexible tickets are 39.90 to 65 Euro. Lutèce Posted May 18, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2016 I don't know where you were looking that quoted that price, but the official SNCF is showing tickets on the TGV ( high speed train) at €47. Do not use Rail Europe - they are a booking agency and charge a booking fee. Also, don't put USA in as your country as I think you will be redirected to the Rail Europe site. You can also book through Captain Train which won't charge a booking fee.
