Ajaccio Corsica France - public park

After disembarking from the ship we veered left to check out a small rocky beach nearby. It was neat to see but if you want a beach day I would pick a cleaner more sandy option. Past the beach was a really nice public park. It had some of the best playground equipment for children I have ever seen. There was a large rope jungle gym that looked like a training course for pirates. There were great safe teeter-totters. There were these little scooter seats on a track that functioned like a little swing. There was also an excellent skate park, soccer area, and bocce ball court.

Cutting back through the city was a fantastic outdoor market just adjacent to the port.

We felt this was a great port for do it yourself excursions and relaxation.

Thank for this information. A park for kids might be just what we need on this port day. Could you provide a more complete description of where it is? Perhaps tag it in google-maps or similar if you know how?

Thank you very much!
