4/30-5/7 Oasis Compasses, Planners & Other Documents

Recommended Posts

Sue & I were on the OASIS for the 30 April - 7 May, 7 Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise visiting Nassau, Bahamas; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas USVI and Philipsburg, Sint Maarten (The Netherland's side of St. Martin)...

I scanned and made pdfs of all the Cruise Compasses, Daily Planners, Shopping Map/Guides, Senior Officers, Useful Information, Luggage Valet and Airline Check-in Application Form, Diamond Concierge Welcome Aboard, Diamond Plus Savings/Coupons, Letter of Information about Zika Virus and the As you Depart document.

I have put them all online and here is the link

Thank You

We are going on the same itinerary next week and this helps a ton

2 quick questions if you don't mind:

1)Did you see the prepaid 10 pack of drink vouchers on board and what day did you remember seeing them?

2)Did you have any trouble getting the reservations you wanted for wither shows or restaurants if you didn't prebook

1. I did not see the Prepaid 10 Pack drink vouchers, but I was not looking as I had purchased a drink package.

2. I had reserved all my shows six months out. The only show you might have any difficulty booking is the Adult Comedy Show. There are only about 250 seats in that show and only about 10 showings, so only about 50% of the cruisers will see it.

And my Main Cruising Page is

I have a couple protected directories for Files that contain personal information.

Thanks so much for this information. My friend & I are sailing this trip in September. I told her today to go to CC & read the info. It will answer a lot of questions & concerns. I started reading & had to leave. I'm back now & will read it all. I had to go to page 3 to find this thread.

How does one book shows 6 months out?

Royal is inconsistent about when shows become available. Some cruises may have show reservations available 6 months out. Most don't.

The Day 1 Planner for Ft Lauderdale shows all the venues open for lunch....

Our entertainment schedule was on one of the pages.. (however, I did create this document on my own from one Oasis offered a couple years ago)

So Sorry, My Error, I booked all my shows on January 14....

HOWEVER. If you want to see the adult comedy show make sure you book it as soon as it is available in your cruise area on RCI...

Thank you for that schedule. I remember they used to have it. Do you know whether the show schedules are the same for Western Caribbean?

Western has a different schedule.

OP.... Did you use Luggage Valet? If so, Could you report on it a bit? How did you get your boarding passes since you don't have to check in at the airport? Did you have to collect your bags once off the ship and take them to a spot for the airline (while at the port?)

The cruise line gives you airline luggage tags and boarding passes. No collecting of bags for you, a courier takes the bags from the ship to the airport.
