garyc20 Posted May 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 27, 2016 Wife and I are meeting our family (Son and DIL with 2 year old and 4 year old) at YVR. Is the Canada Line to Hyatt doable with luggage and stroller? Two extra sets of adult hands will be there. We will already be checked in at the Hyatt. xlxo Posted May 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2016 In general.... Yes, however.... -there is a $5 surcharge for each rider departing from YVR. Thus $9 per person weekdays for the one way trip before 6;30pm. It's $31 for the cab carload for door to door convenience. -the Canada Line vcc station is a 4 block walk to the Hyatt. I vote for cab with stroller and luggage.
Rare martincath Posted May 27, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 27, 2016 But six people, even with two small kids, will not fit in a single cab unless you take a minivan and the kids ride a lap the whole way (and even then, unless traveling light it will be a struggle to get all the luggage in). So really its $62+tip for the cbas, vs Skytrain where kids under 5 are free, so only the 4 adults will pay $9pp (and if 65+ that becomes $7.75pp).
