littlesmf Posted May 29, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2016 Excited about cruising June 2 !!! Booked this cruise almost a year ago and it's really close. Started packing (I usually over pack and I'm trying to get better, ha) and wondering what the weather is like onboard and at ports. Hot, chilly at night, rain? Any feedback from recent cruisers would be fantastic ! thanks in advance. *this is my 4th cruise. :)

champagne123 Posted May 29, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 29, 2016 This is a great website: http://www.bermuda.com/ The water in Bermuda for the beginning of June is still a tad chilly, but if you are brave....lol....jump in. Have a great cruise. Bermuda is one of my favorite places.
littlesmf Posted May 29, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted May 29, 2016 Thanks for the quick replies. Ports: Bermuda, St Maarten, Puerto Rico and Haiti. I am hoping to snorkel in Bermuda. I hope it doesn't rain! I have a balcony room, wondering if it's cold in the morning or evening, or? I appreciate the links to weather websites, but I can look that up myself (big smile). :D Was hoping to hear from cruisers that just completed this cruise. DaisyL Posted May 29, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 29, 2016 You can never tell with weather. We've done the same itinerary 4 times in May and the most recent on Anthem May 5. This year we had torrential rain and wind in Bermuda, first time ever with weather this bad. Once it was cold and clear; nobody but us at snorkel beach. Another it was perfect for swimming and last year it was very hot and sunny. St. Maarten, SanJuan, and Labadee is always very warm or hot. Of course you can have clouds or rain. We thought the ship was very warm inside the solarium and the inside pool areas. We thought the public indoor bars, restaurants, clubs etc. were comfortable and not needing a sweater or wrap. The lowest temperature that can be set in the room is 68 F and thought the ventilation was very good at clearing out the steam from the bathroom. At least better than any other ship. BTW, there's a nightlight in the bathroom too.
DaisyL Posted May 29, 2016 #7 Share Posted May 29, 2016 You may need a jacket (or a towel to wrap in) when going outside the first or last day on your balcony when the ship is moving, if you're the type that gets cold. We haven't except if needed in NJ or vicinity. Have a good time!
