GardenMiss Posted June 28, 2016 #51 Share Posted June 28, 2016 How was your experience getting on the boat with an assigned time? What time was it? Thanks! Happy Anniversary!
Jayfo Posted June 28, 2016 #52 Share Posted June 28, 2016 For me, the assigned check in time was VERY misleading. We had 3 cabins and they all had either a 10am or 10:30 check in time. That was just the time they let you in line outside to begin checking in. Heard lots of grumbling and confusion by people all around us. But then, the earlier you checked in, the earlier group number you got assigned to. They still directed us to a FTTF line outside. (I had signed up for the earlier check in before we were able to snag some FTTF tickets) We boarded very late even though we were FTTF...they were still dragging previous passengers off the ship! We sat in those waiting area chairs cooling our heels for almost 2 hours. Watched in amazement at people still walking off at 11:45-12:00. I was wondering if they were all hiding in the bathrooms or something!

It was strange, but being our first cruise, we really didn't know what to expect.
