Can a 4 year old enjoy Belize

I agree with brother Craig, a 4 year old would love the zoo in Belize, it's small and easy to get around.

Any idea what a taxi costs from the pier to the zoo?

Hard to say. The Zoo is almost an hour west of the city so it could be a lot. Better off doing an excursion. Two or three hours is plenty for that zoo. Very small but has a lot of cool animals, etc. that we don't get to see in the states.
