Conquest Lido Deck 9283

Recommended Posts

Going on the Conquest 11-13-05 and have room 9283. This is on the Lido

deck about five rooms back. It would seem to me that it should be okay but

would appreciate any info from other who have been in that area. I figure

the Spa might cause some noise in the day but no problems at night. If I

get hungry I can just run out and get a bite .

For others on that cruise it will be wild - there will be about 130 of us out of

Las Vegas.

I'm the man to talk to. We were in that cabin last week (Oct. 12th). If I ever book Conquest class ship again, I will insist on the Lido deck!!!! People are always concerned about noise and such, forget about it, this was as quiet as we've had on a cruise ship and the Conquest seems to have paper thin walls. Other than a noisy neighbor (started partying early in the day, but seemed to poop out by late afternoon, must be in their 40's!!!) You could spend the entire cruise and never leave the 9th deck. When you hang by the pool, you are closer to your cabin than you are a public restroom. That was so nice. I was concerned about the traffic getting off the elevator and going to the buffets and pool area but you are well sequestered from noise and pax even though it is so close. Never any traffic in the stateroon halls other than residence. If you are lucky you get Romeo for your roon steward. He was great. Kept fresh ice in a big bucket and ice chest at least once, sometimes twice a day. He was very attentive and very nice. Ask more and I'll tell. You won't get much negative out of me, but I'll be upfront. Also can let you in on some don't miss eating opportunities!!!!

Bon Voyage, Mike

I think the Lido deck is PERFECT. We were on Spa deck last time on the Conquest and will be there again next month - but I have to say, I would LOVE to be on the Lido deck. It's the pefect location - central to just about everything.

Thanks everyone. I kinda thought everything would be okay there. When

we were on the Legend on the Panorama Deck some people said there was

noise from above but it never did bother us. I would be interested in hearing

about the eating places. Like I said there will be about 130 of us and I think

most of them will be on the Lido deck. Some of them upgrade to suites etc.

Since I am not paying for it the Balconies they give be have been just fine.

If there are any others on the November 13, you will see us mostly in the

Casino :).

Thanks
