Fair warning, not all ports are as quick and easy to deal with as Jaxport and the larger ships have more amenities, but more than twice the number of passengers.

That said, Fantasy Class (like Elation) is my favorite class of Carnival Ship. Until a couple months ago Jacksonville had Fascination which is, in my opinion a far superior ship to Elation. Still, living near Savannah, Its' great to have a terminal in Jacksonville for quick last minute bahamas trips.

Returned home from our first cruise entry EVER. It was on Elation and absolutely LOVED it!!! Want to go again. We were sad to leave. Want to go on a larger ship, if can find a really good deal.

We went on Valor/Glory B2B the first week of Dec. and got rock-bottom rates. Glory had just gotten the 2.0 upgrades and Valor recently has, too.

Happy to hear you enjoyed your first cruise! Check out Fantasy when it comes to Mobile. The prices aren't bad and we love the crew and officers. Mobile is comparable to Jacksonville port for size and ease. Nice and close, too. :)
