wallygator21015 Posted June 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2016 IMPORTANT INFORMATION CARNIVAL PRIDE JUNE 5, 2016 June 4, 2016 Hi there! I'm sure you are very excited about your cruise tomorrow. So, we'd like to take a moment of your time to provide you some important information. On the current voyage, Carnival Pride developed a technical issue affecting the ship's propulsion system which only affects our maximum cruising speed. As a result of the reduced speed, Carnival Pride will be slightly delayed arriving into Baltimore tomorrow. We expect the ship to be alongside at 10:00 AM. Since we will be busy saying good bye to guests from the current voyage, boarding for your cruise is now set for 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and we will set sail shortly thereafter. We apologize for this delay and thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. Our entire team is looking forward to welcoming you on board. See you soon! Sincerely, Arlene Marichal Sr. Director, Guest Services - Contact Centers Sent from my iPad using Forums
Goldiesmom Posted July 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2016 Has the Propulsion Problem about which you wrote in early June been fixed ? Have there been any additional problems since early June ? My wife and I are booked on the Pride for early November. Thanks for any additional info that you can provide.

Hribal Posted July 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 20, 2016 We cruise her in a couple of weeks. There seems to be a continual propulsion problem with the Pride. I keep reading about that and the Big Green slide not in working order....sail after sail after sail. I have said this before. I don't understand how a boat that is pretty new from being dry docked to not in 100% working order, all.the.time? Now, does the propulsion really affect us? Not really while we are cruising but we all are paying for 100% amenities and the slide doesn't work half the time? The last time we took the Pride the kiddie pool/slide area never worked the entire time we were on her. How do you explain that to a 3 year old? Anyway, I hoped your cruise was great!
