When do they post excursion choices?

This is my first NCL and I don't know if they post excursion later than RCCL and Carnival or if they just don't offer as many? The cruise is in October and right now there are 12 excursions listed and none at all for Mazatlan. Do you think there will be more or is it one of those "it is what it is" things?
