bizzybee902 Posted June 22, 2016 Author #101 Share Posted June 22, 2016 great review!!! looks like so much fun and i'm liking the menus. ughh, just mad we don't have a cruise booked right now :( Thanks. I habitually go on Carnival to look at cruises even though I'm not going either, lol. It's addictive.

medianeh Posted June 24, 2016 #105 Share Posted June 24, 2016 Yes that's the sailing I'm on! It's a date! :D There are quite a few people onboard celebrating birthdays so you should definitely book it too. Hi Kim! Sorry for hijacking this thread, but wasn't sure how to send you a private message! This is Diane, we met on a flight back on June 1st when you were working! Just wanted to say "hi". Thanks for the wonderful hospitality on the flight, you made me feel special! Hoping to cruise with you someday!!! Diane
jhnsnfamily Posted June 25, 2016 #106 Share Posted June 25, 2016 "Cows, we got Cows!!!". Name that movie, lol. It's in my top ten favorites. TWISTER!? I was in an F5 tornado when I was four years old ... Not good! Loving your review. Kudos to you for traveling solo! I am adding your waterfall excursion to my bucket list! bizzybee902 Posted June 26, 2016 Author #108 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Sea days are really chill days for me. I woke up and grabbed a latte and ran into daughter W, son W. They were headed to brunch; exactly where I was headed to. The entire W family ended up at brunch, lol. Daughter W's Bagel and Salmon. She enjoyed it. I wanted to see what the hype was with the Eggs Benedict. I had the sauce to the side. It was wonderful! I also had steak and eggs. Couldn't leave without it! I will begin posting photos from around the ship. I went to the kiosk to print my bill and took this shot of the atrium.
bizzybee902 Posted June 26, 2016 Author #109 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Upper deck. I ran into the hairy chest contest. One of my favorite events. The judges. (I always feel bad for the judge who has to see the booty dance, lol) Big Man!!! After wrestling with an alligator towel we were down to the final two. The final two contestants have to dress like a lady and strut their stuff! Neither one of the contestant had much hair on their chest, but it was still good entertainment. The gentleman with the blue towel around his neck won. It's always fun to see the ladies willing to dress a random stranger up in the latest fashion! bizzybee902 Posted June 26, 2016 Author #110 Share Posted June 26, 2016 I ran into the W's again and we walked to the aft pool where there were some open chairs. Chocolate extravaganza! Back of the Ship Shot! Aft Pool. If you look to the back of the pool the line to the left is for the Deli. The line to the right is to Tandoor. I refuse to complain about lines because the food is good. I enjoyed the Deli and waited twenty minutes one night, but it was worth it. Tandoor (Indian cuisine) Burrito Bar. I didn't hit the Burrito Bar this cruise, but son W said it was good. Rotisserie (Soul Food). Of course I had some of this. Yum Yum!
bizzybee902 Posted June 26, 2016 Author #111 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Clearly my sugar was low after I ate Rotisserie and enjoyed a couple of drinks. I ran to Tandoor and jumped behind the guy holding the closed sign. He was pretty irritated with my childish behavior, but he still let me get some scraps. Side note: Karma came back to me fast because that sugar honey ice tea was spicy. I didn't remember it being this hot, lol. I went downstairs to the Harry Potter Trivia at 4:30pm. I love Harry Potter. I have all the books and the movies. I love everything about Harry Potter. Best part of Harry Potter - Dumbledore "All this time?" Snape "Always". Shoutout to the Harry Potter fans. I headed back up to chill with the W's. Then dinner time approached rather fast. Views from the table. This is the moment when I think about how I don't wanna go back, but I got bills bills bills and need to work.
bizzybee902 Posted June 26, 2016 Author #112 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Tonight's dinner wasn't nothing spectacular. I was satisfied from all the food I just had to sample. Vegetable Spring Rolls (Everyday menu) Bacon Mac n' Cheese. I enjoyed the mac and cheese off the kids menu, but this was more of a southern style that my mother cooks. It was wonderful. More ship pics. Promenade Deck. Oceanview Bar Royal Flush Casino
bizzybee902 Posted June 26, 2016 Author #113 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Atrium I loved the band. This baby had a cheer squad. He was just dancing his little two step, lol. I did grab a book from the library that someone donated. It is a really great book. I will return it on my next cruise. Even though the library is close to the atrium; you could not hear the band inside. Photos! I am looking forward to the new digital photo option. Hopefully Carnival can implement this fleet wide. I believe it will reduce the overall cost of photos for guests and increase Carnivals revenue because they are not wasting a ton of photos. $20 for an elegant night photo is pretty steep. bizzybee902 Posted June 26, 2016 Author #114 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Tonight's Show was Epic Rock. It was Awesome!!! The guitarist was wonderful. He played a lot of songs for the pre-show. I went to the comedy shows a little later Mike Estime was really funny. He told stories; whereas Chas Elstner told jokes using sound effects. I prefered Mike Estime. Bae wasn't in my room tonight. Only the sad reminder of a heart from my room attendant. Sigh. I woke up early and we were already in Miami. I took a few more shots of the ship and my room after breakfast. bizzybee902 Posted June 26, 2016 Author #116 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Serenity. The bar was always empty in this area. I enjoyed reading my book here. I hurried to my room to grab my bags for self-assist. Customs kept delaying our debarkation so I ended up leaving the ship before my group was called. I had a 2:45 pm flight from Miami to BWI. I got off the ship at about 10:50 am and my group had not been called yet. Customs was fairly quick. I snagged a ticket on Carnival transfers outside the port and headed to Miami Airport. Ultimately my flight was delayed for 45 mins, but I still felt good with my decision to just get off the ship. It's always sad to leave. Hopefully, I can catch you guys on The Carnival Vista for a birthday getaway in December! Thanks for tuning in! If you have any questions feel free to ask. It takes a lot of effort to kick out these reviews. I took close to 200 pictures and that's modest compared to other reviewers. Out of four cruises, I have done three reviews. It means a lot to see all the thank you's and questions because it's all for you guys! Even though the view counts go up; it feels good see the thank you's and to know somebody is out there watching AND enjoying. Bye Miami! See you soon! kpatrick74 Posted June 26, 2016 #118 Share Posted June 26, 2016 (edited) I'm so glad I came across this review. Just got off the Magic and my hubby got a "bounce back offer" and this is one I'm considering. You may have talked me into it. By the way, the conversation in your head about the alcohol had me in stitches. You have a great sense of humor n I'm glad you enjoyed your trip. rrader Posted June 26, 2016 #123 Share Posted June 26, 2016 I have to admit that this is the first review that I have followed that I hated to see it come to an end. You have a great writing style. I love your sense of humor and you have a wonderful and cheerful attitude (not a Debby Downer like so many reviewers). We leave on the Splendor this Saturday. Can't wait to check out some of the places you highlighted in your review. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
