lithlith Posted June 13, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 13, 2016 Does anyone have photos of or can speak to the quality of a "virtual balcony"? Is it live time?
RCfuncruiser10 Posted June 14, 2016 #6 Share Posted June 14, 2016 A few more that I know of that have them are Quantum class and also Harmony of the seas. My understanding is that it is a live video feed. I saw some videos of it on YouTube. It looks okay, I think I will try it one day.

ahecht Posted June 14, 2016 #8 Share Posted June 14, 2016 Voyager class do Not all of them. Currently, the ships with virtual balconies are Quantum, Anthem, Ovation, Harmony, Voyager, Explorer, and Navigator. If you're interested in a particular ship, you can always check the deck plans. They show up as a separate category (category "J").
LuvCruzn4Evr Posted June 14, 2016 #9 Share Posted June 14, 2016 Does anyone have photos of or can speak to the quality of a "virtual balcony"? Is it live time? We had one on our August 2015 cruise on the Navigator. We were really looking forward to it as the pic on their website looked amazing. What a JOKE!!! The virtual balcony was on a side wall behind a chair and at most 3 feet wide, not the width of the larger wall as pictured on their website. It was live and depending on which side of the ship the camera was pointed, you may or may not see much at all. We saw mostly water our entire cruise. Don't recall having a choice of various categories within the virtual balcony. It could be we picked the wrong category but regardless, we won't book one again. We were soooo disappointed.
