lianaks Posted June 12, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2016 We planning to tour Schwerin Castle in July, we will be on a tour and did not take the lunch option and wonder will we have problem finding restuarant to have lunch? Are there many choices to choose or should we have to tour company provide lunches? Those who have been there, please advice. LS
bdfred Posted June 13, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2016 We were there in May and there were plenty of options available. We walked up a street to a nice cafe with sidewalk seating and had a wonderful meal. The desserts all looked fabulous. You won't have any problems. Schwerin Castle was great. We actually spent time walking the town too. Have a great time!

cleobella Posted June 13, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 13, 2016 We just got back from our Baltic cruise. Our Tour included lunch at a restaurant that was right on the lake right in front of the castle. There is a dock so boats can drive right up. The view of the castle is great and the food was good. I'm not sure of the name but you could not miss it if you are walking up to the castle from town. Grego Posted June 13, 2016 #6 Share Posted June 13, 2016 We have booked SPB Tours for Schwerin and it does include a "German meal and beer". It looks to be a great walking tour of Rostock along with Schwerin and back to the port that is 10 hours in length.
