Saildude16 Posted June 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2016 For our 50th anniversary cruise we booked an H Gty on Oct 20,2015 for the May 11, 2017 BCN/BCN Explorer 10 day voyage(EXP170511). However, the problems with migrants at some ports of call and possibility of terrorism in the Med have caused us to question our 8 month old decision. As a result of the concerns noted above on Mar 24, 2016 we Waitlisted categories H thru F1 on EXP170115(LA/MIA 15 nights). If we clear this waitlist in a timely manner we'll cancel BCN/BCN. (Even if we don't clear there's a high probability we'll cancel anyway). Given this background, what are Regent's criterion for clearing a waitlist once suites become available due to cancellations? Is it based on the date one was waitlisted? We're SSS Silver - does that help? Please advise. As noted above we selected 5 suite categogies to increase our chances to get the substitute voyage. Randall Soy Posted June 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 17, 2016 Thanks for entrusting us with your vacation dreams. We work our waitlists in priority order by category so the fact that you have waitlisted multiple categories bodes well! That first LA-MIA Panama Canal voyage came out with our initial Seven Seas Explorer Launch very hot. I stay tuned as we work the waitlists constantly and then still join us for the Barcelona adventure!
Saildude16 Posted June 17, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted June 17, 2016 Still would like to know the criterion used within a category. What is the role of date waitlisted, SSS status, etc.
