Special Breakfast in the dining room - suite guests only, very simply understood.

En-suite tablecloth dining for breakfast/lunch/dinner/high tea - will they serve 4 from the full menu on the balcony....in the room if it's too cold outside?

When do we get the menus?

How far ahead should we place our order?

Are they on time?

Is it hot?

How is it presented?

Yes, you can order food for more than the suite occupants. Just remember to tip accordingly for the work that room service must do. The enhanced MDR menu can only be ordered when the MDR is open for that meal, 7:00-9:00 or 7:30 to 9:30 for breakfast, noon to 1:30 for lunch and after about 5:30 for dinner. Food will come right after you order so maybe 15-30 minutes. For tea they ask you to order the day before but we have ordered just 1-2 hours in advance. Once again tea is only available from 3:30 to 4:30. Your room steward will bring you the menus, typically the night before. Also, it is just room service, not white tablecloth dining. Everything that you order is brought at the same time. If we have wanted a soufflé or ice cream for dessert we order that separate

Ask your cabin steward to bring the daily dining room menus. Let him/her know if you want just the dinner menu or breakfast and lunch as well. You can order as much as you like, but they will bring it all at once, not in courses. They will serve you in your cabin or on your balcony, whichever you wish. To order, call the dine line and let them know you're ordering off the regular dinning room menu, but you must order when the dining room is open. Arrival time depends on how busy they are. Most everything comes warm, but not hot.

We have always tipped when we ordered a meal in our suite, but I know that's subjective.

Enjoy your suite!
