I will be really interested to hear your opinion of the Shows, Jim - you will see on the other thread that I was a little disappointed with some of the shows we saw; not because of the talent, which is superb, but the material they are working with was a little "odd" ! Hope to hear some good reports from you about the shows.

That is disgraceful WCM. Supposing someone was diabetic and needed to eat at a certain time!

 

Hadn't thought of that aspect Linda.

 

What really irritated me was the chief stewardess informing us she didn't have the authority to provide something to eat.

 

That sounded like a "jobsworth" response to me - I'm sure Thomsons could have stood the cost of a few snacks.

 

A few years back the head stewardess on a Thomas Cook flight was very quick to offer free spirit miniatures to 3 passengers in order to placate their anger after one of her male colleagues had made a totally inappropriate remark to one of the party.
