CanuckonaBoat Posted June 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2016 I want to bring non-alcoholic drinks onboard my cruise. Do these have to be in my carry-on bag? or can these be in a checked luggage (obviously packed carefully like other liquids).
moki'smommy Posted June 26, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2016 ALL beverages need to be in your carry on bags. You can bring in any quantity you wish of non-alcoholic beverages. As one who had some idiot's wine leak into my luggage....I'm sure he thought his stuff was packed carefully. No way he would have packed a bottle only to have it leak or break, right? Fortunately it was on the way home and I was able to deal with laundry/cleaning most of the stuff. That and my plastic bag packing methods saved nearly everything. Shmoo will undoubtedly post her photos of the horrible way they handle luggage. NO amount of careful packing is good enough. On another cruise, daughter had a plastic shampoo bottle break and leak--that's why those items are always in zip lock bags.
Fourseventeen Posted June 27, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 27, 2016 Has to be in your carry on. Plus I wouldnt recommend putting it in your checked bag even if it was allowed. All of those bags are stacked upon stacked on top of one another to be loaded onto the ship...something may get busted open.
