June 2016 NOLA/Mexico Triumph Picture Review

I had a shrimp quesadilla and DH had a chicken one.

I spent a lot of time in the pool whereas DH liked the beach. His fried shrimp and my coconut shrimp.

 

 

 

We left around 3, all aboard was at 4:30, however, by that time it was raining hard.

We don't eat dinner together every night and for the next 2 nights I ate alone in the dining room.

Nothing appealed to me on the menu so I got the surf and turf for $20. I thought it was worth it.

DH went to bed while I donated at the casino then I went to bed.

Do you remember what the little pink drink was with the lemon slice? It says Alchemy up above it and it looks really good.

 

It was the peach Cosmo, one of my favorites.

I went to the Lido deck for breakfast and it was filled with towel animals.

 

 

 

 

 

I ate at the buffet, the lines were kind of long, but in the middle they had an express buffet, which was about 7 hot items, which was good enough for me.

We had a 20 minute bus ride out to the private residence. There was a beach, two pools, drinks and a buffet.

The Palace Café and Deanie's. I'm jealous. Two of my favorites. I am loving your review. Also, experienced a similar FTTF experience. Decided to forgo FTTF for our up coming cruise on the Dream. Wonder if ill notice a difference? Looking forward to he rest of your review. Next time you're in NOLA try Jaque Imo's in the garden district.

I never watched the movies, though I wanted to see Star Wars. I have the fun times and will scan them, all of the movies were on there I think.

About 20 minutes before we started to leave it rained a little. Shortly after we got to the port it rained heavy and there was no covering. We were drenched. They had warm towels for everyone after we got off the gangway,

I had a manicure and pedicure in the spa. Not cheap but enjoyable.
