Miami Airport to FLL port ?

My friends were scheduled to arrive in FLL (airport) on Monday 10/24 as they are cruising on 10/25. Now that the flights from San Juan to FLL have been cancelled for tomorrow I need to know if they should take the San Juan to Miami flight and then take a cab to the FLL port. How long is the drive from Miami airport to FLL port ?

It's about 30 miles. I beleive there are shuttles that make the run

A taxi will take about one hour and cost about $65. It's the fastest and easiest thing to do.

Thanks Superj & dlove for the info. I don't think my friends are going to make it to FLL tomorrow. All morning flights from SJU to FLL and MIA are cancelled. They are supposed to cruise on the Coral Princess tomorrow and the cruise line has maintained their 5 PM departure.
