Oceania App

Has anyone used the phone app for Oceania? Most cruise lines are rolling out apps to use while on board. I read that Oceania has one called Connect@Sea, but I haven't seen anyone discussing it.

That is a VOIP Telephone App. You use it to call home for I think $1.99 a minute.

Connect@Sea isn't an App in the sense that you mean.

 

It is a method of connecting to the Internet while on the ship, which Oceania was featuring, particularly as it applied to telephone/cellphone connectivity.

 

Frankly, it was never a good fit, and Oceania has apparently chosen to upgrade their own facilities, rather than going the third party route.

 

If there is another, different Oceania App on the drawing board, I have not heard of it, yet.
