plattwear Posted July 14, 2016 #51 Share Posted July 14, 2016 I bought insurance for my last cruise. My mom needed a shot from the nurse 1st day for severe seasickness, Was so glad to get the money back from that unexpected cost. Chief Cruiser Posted July 14, 2016 #53 Share Posted July 14, 2016 I ALWAYS purchase travel insurance for my cruises. I never buy it from Carnival. There's much better and cheaper coverage on the open market.

Karson Posted July 14, 2016 #55 Share Posted July 14, 2016 I have always bought insurance for cruises and all-inclusive resort stays. Usually purchase on own, but this time purchased thru Carnival
Rob&Bonnie Posted July 15, 2016 #56 Share Posted July 15, 2016 We didn't used to buy it, but we were younger and healthier then... Now that we are older, as our our parents at home, we consider it part of the cost of our vacation (we buy it for land and cruise trips). I did have to visit the doctor last trip, but my regular insurance covered the expense so I didn't have to submit to the travel insurance. We use squaremouth, which is similar to insure my trip.
