driving to pier & luggage

Can anyone tell me what do you do with you checked luggage when you drive to the pier yourself?

Do you mean what do you do at baggage claim after you get off the plane if you don't have cruise-supplied transfers?

 

If so, you need to collect your bags yourself, put on your ship baggage tags, drive to the pier, drop the bags off with the porters at the pier, and either park your car or return it to the car rental agency.

Pull up to the pier and give the luggage to the porters and then park car and return to terminal and check in.
