A few SUNSHINE questions

Is it true that not all cabins have a min-frig? How are the shows? Where can I get a listing? I'm a vegan, do they have a stir fry at the buffet?

As I understand it only the cabins they added to the ship have the fridges.

We sailed in April in 8201. We were told deck 8 did not have mini frig, but to our surprise had one that worked great, very cold. Great singers in the shows, but sang to tracks. No live musicians. We prefer live music. I can't answer your Vegan question, but there are so many options, I can't imagine they won't be able to accommodate.

We sailed on the 20th of July....and was told our cabin didn't have a mini...

Arriving found a great one, super cold.

If you have medical supplies that need to kept cold, bring a small collapsible soft cooler, your cabin steward will help you with daily ice.

most cabins do not have a fridge on the sunshine.

 

mongolian wok.....stir fry.....is on the sunshine but is not in the buffet. it is in the havana area next to ji ji's aft of the buffet.

It's weird, in April we had 3 rooms all in a row. One had a fridge the other two did not. My daughter's a vegetarian and she had plenty of choices to eat, not sure about vegan choices. You may want to call Carnival and tell them. My PVP always asks me if there are any dietary restrictions, so they might accommodate.

Sunshine is an older ship built at a time when most cabins didnt have a fridge. They have added a few but most do not. One of the reasons this ship is not for us.

Guest services on the ship couldn't even tell us. We just got lucky.

Ask and you will receive one if possible.

It was obvious that ours was brought in for the prior guest, the space for the mini was not prepped for the electric cord in the original design. The cord was in front of the counter....

Fine for us, wife has some meds that need to be kept cool, 24/7.

Bottom line.... meds....bring a soft cooler.

We had a mini fridge in our cabin 7264 on sunshine they are not in cupboards just set under the counter with the cord running up the counter

I read that after her dry dock in May, more rooms got a mini fridge.

 

I hope we have one when we sail! :D
