sme Posted July 13, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2016 Besides being longer than 7 days, what is different about Journey's cruises? We have an 8 and 15 day booked.
cruzeluver Posted July 13, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 13, 2016 We completed a 10 night Journeys cruise beginning of June and absolutely loved it!! Typically they include at least one port that Carnival rarely visits (in our case, Martinique). The menu in the main dining room had an additional appetizer and entree option inspired by whichever port we had visited that day. They do something called a "throwback sea day" where they bring back some of the old cruise traditions not normally found anymore. This included the old horse races, frog races, a captain's cocktail party for everyone with free cocktails, live music and dancing (loved it!!!), a midnight buffet and a few other things. SadieN Posted July 13, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 13, 2016 We've had a series of lectures - photography, food etc about 5 in all. Port food demo. Throwback 80's day includes a Grand Midnight Buffet. On your Hawaii cruise this replaces the Hawaiian night.
