Millennium 9156

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any comments about 9156 corner aft cabin on the Millennium? I have not sailed on Celebrity ships yet but have 20+ cruises under my belt on other major lines. I plan to take a Mediterranean Cruise next year and as it is a special year for me and my parents I thought I would get in early and splash out on this cabin. Would it be worth the extra money over, say, a regular veranda cabin?

Thanks for any comments.

If it is 3 of you and you do not plan on getting separate cabins, then the FV is the way to go. If you scroll through this board you will find some threads discussing the FVs, including some pictures. The only thing I've noted, which made us choose the non-corner FV, is that the balcony of the corner FV was more enclosed - metal up to the rail, as opposed to the other balconies, which are clear. We like seeing the water as we we're sitting (either in the cabin or out). Also, corner blaconies had a little less privacy from above.

42Trvl - thank you for your quick reply. I have had a look at the photographs and what I like about the corner cabins is the ability to see forward as well as aft, although I take your point about not being able to see the wake from a sitting position. Ah, the tough decisions of cruising!

You certainly will get more views from the corner FV, as the balcony also extends farther out than the other aft balconies. The corner FV cabin is also supposed to be a little bit larger. It's really just a matter of personal preference.
