Singer4Him Posted July 24, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2016 We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn a few years ago and parked across the street at Fulton Street garage. They have a shuttle that takes you to the port. Great hotel and we were 100% please with Fulton Street garage.

crooooze Posted July 24, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) We stayed at the Hampton Inn near the convention center. Free shuttle to the ship. We didn't have a car, so I don't know the deal with parking. We'd definately stay there again. Edited July 24, 2016 by crooooze
ekajun1957 Posted July 27, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 27, 2016 If you google "New Orleans Cruise Hotel Shuttle package" you can find them. One warning, make sure it is drop off and pick up. There are many that if you stay the night before they will drop you off at the port but pick up on return is not included in the package. I live in the New Orleans area and Machu Picchu mentioned by someone else has a very good reputation. I have not used them for port transportation though. cooled_pinky Posted August 4, 2016 #7 Share Posted August 4, 2016 We used Machu Picchu a few years ago. As parking and transportation in New Orleans is so expensive and we were spending a few days there before our cruise, we were charged a flat rate for a week (less than $100). When we arrived in New Orleans, we drove directly to his lot (which is surrounded by a high security fence and your car will be sheltered and you take your keys). He took us to our hotel (even making a stop at WalMart for a few "supplies", picked us up at our hotel the day of our cruise and took us to the cruise ship and picked us up the day we returned and took us back to his lot to get our vehicle. Nice, trustworthy folks.
