In advance, thanks. Infrequent service from Torremolinos to Las Linea then walk across the border where there are buses up to Main Street http://www.goeuro.co.uk/search/MzE2ODAxODU4OkNNS0dpSmNCRWhJSnpFTE9rWkduUXZzUmtPUlBjLWFTenJ3YURBaU90TE9fNUNvU0ExVlVReUlIQ09BUEVBZ1lEekRUanhjNC1ZMFhRZzRJSXhJS0NnVnlaVzVtWlJJQkxWQUFVQUZRQWxBRFdpa0tHakkzYVdrMmFHRm5iVGswTm1JM09YQTJjekJxYTI5MmFqQXdFRE1hQldOdkxuVnJJZ0psYmc= Alternatively bus or train to Fuengirola then bus to La Linea. Schedule for March next year won't be available yet. Much easier to take a cheap organised day excursion. campolady Posted August 2, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2016 (edited) I am not certain a tour would work as I am trying to get to Gorhams cave. I actually meant one of the 'Shopping Trips' rather than a tour of the Rock. With these they just drop you off then you have the rest of the day to do whatever you want so you could get a taxi or local bus if there is a suitable route to Gorhams Cave which is on the east side of the Rock. With the Shopping Trips you generally have around 5-6 hours in Gibraltar. Here are a couple of example of a shopping trip BUT you will find them considerably cheaper if you book in a local travel agency once in Torremolinos https://www.getyourguide.com/malaga-l402/gibraltar-full-day-shopping-tour-from-the-costa-del-sol-t10942/ http://www.timeinspain.com/book_gibraltar_shopping_trip.asp Edited August 2, 2016 by campolady
Rare John Bull Posted August 2, 2016 #5 Share Posted August 2, 2016 I agree with Campolady - what is effectively a simple tourist coach shuttle is simplest and, despite pick-ups on the way, almost-certainly quickest too. Lots of bars etc in Torremoulinos sell tickets. You will need to take your passport. JB :)

Rare ollienbertsmum Posted August 7, 2016 #8 Share Posted August 7, 2016 Thanks for the tip where to look. Gorham's cave is not very accessible, I know that one of the Dolphin safaris has taken people there. Try contacting neanderthals@gibmuseum.gi for information on tours.
