Jewel Royal Family Suite stern deck 7: noisy?

Recommended Posts

Folks, we're booked on Jewel of the Seas March 19th 2006 in the Royal Family suite on deck 7 (7672) and an E1 suite next door starboard side (7670).:)

Now, we're a little concerned that we're right above the Congo Bar and Zanzibar lounge...can anyone tell us if there is much/any noise on deck 7 from these places?

TA is trying to move us up a level or 2 but it doesn't look likely. We're traveling with a group of 1st time cruisers and I want this to be a good experience for them so that we can use them as an additional excuse for more cruises!!!

Thanks for any advice/input!

Mauro

Did you stay in Cabin 7672? We are due to be staying in it in 2 weeks time? What was it like, and how big was the balacony?

Any info appreciated.

Well, we stayed in that exact Royal Family Suite in June, 2005 for a 12 Night Northern Europe British Isles/Norway Cruise. The Suite is Fabulous, especially the Master Bathroom and the Master bedroom walk in closet!

Now the balcony is deceiving from the renderings online. Not as big as it appears and the actual square footage is not all usable due to thin steel beams taking up a lot of space. It does not actually wrap around, although you get all views, aft and both sides. Awesome cabin overall, ask away if you have any questions.
