TrentS Posted October 27, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2005 The Mandarin Oriental is the best hotel in Miami! It's a spectacular hotel on a small island next to a few condos, about 5 minutes from the Port of Miami.

Chesterfield Posted October 28, 2005 #8 Share Posted October 28, 2005 TrentS do you know to what extent the Mandarin Oriental was damaged by Wilma? Have a resersation there for a night in late November, 24th, and haven't been able to find out their status (haven't tried calling them directly, thought they would be pretty busy right now). I know the Four Seasons was severly damaged with many windows blown out and that is fairly close to the Mandarin Oriental. Thanks for any information. TrentS Posted October 28, 2005 #9 Share Posted October 28, 2005 Mandarin Oriental is open, has power and are operating as normal. They had no damage at all. Four Seasons had some windows blown out and those rooms were damaged, but they have power and are open. JW Marriott had some windows blown out and some damaged rooms as well, but they're also open and have power.
