NCL White Hot Party

Sailing on NCL Dawn 8/12/16 -Do they still have the White Hot Party? Anything else I should be prepared for?

I was on the 7/29 Dawn cruise. They had the white hot party, I belive it was on the 2nd to last night. You will see it listed on the daily program.

It's a dance party, and everyone is asked to wear white! A lot of fun. (And you can go even if you don't wear white!)

While it's a night out for everyone to stay out late and generate bar revenue for the ship, when done right it's a fun night for guests whether they're drinking or not! Usually the first hour of the party is the traditional line dance songs to get people out on the floor. Expect songs like the Wobble and Electric Slide and Cupid Shuffle (bleh!). After that it opens up to an open format by the DJ after the dancers do their number. If it stays true to form then the beats should be faster than what is heard in the lounge most other nights of the voyage. However, that's dependent on the crowd that is on the dance floor. Wear white... or neon... the theme of the night shows up under black lights. The newer ships flipped the White Hot Party to the glow party where neon colors are in but white costuming is just the same. Want to have fun? Do something more elaborate! Sometimes I do! :)
