Prettiest of carnival ships....

Which do you think?? I personally have only cruised on Sensation, and think that it is an ugly ship (JMO)....I have cruised numerous times on RC and thought I would give Carnival another try.....Which ship would you recommend and why?

I think the Spirit. I have been on all lines and I think she is the prettiest that I have been on. The Conquest was pretty, just didnt like the layout and the people on it... Spirit was all around great... My clients love the Miracle too.

I have sailed 9 different Carnival Ships - I thought the Pride was the nicest looking!

The Valor is absolutely beautiful. I'll be sailing on the Liberty in 2 weeks so I'll let you know when I return.

I have to agree on the Spirit. Thought it was a beautiful ship, east to get around and very clean.

Will also be on the Liberty in a few months. Hope that is just as nice.

another vote for the pride, we loved it. plus there was another thread recently about carnival ships heading into dry dock this year and next. some of ships may be getting ready to look a lot nicer.

For me it is the Victory!!! Maybe because I love the water and the theme of this ship is the seven seas etc. I have sailed the Pride and Inspiration but for me I found many artistic areas on the Victory!!!

I loved Sensation & sister ship Inspiration but they are getting older now. Carnival's new ships keep looking better & better with every one I try.

I don't think you can go wrong with any Carnival ship! Depends on where you want to sail from.:) The size should be taken into consideration as well.

I have only been on Conquest and I think she is gorgeous. I agree with the earlier post about not liking the people on it though. My second cruise will be on Mariner in April, I cant wait to see what she looks like. :p

I found the Conquest to be very gaudy! Neon colors and cheap looking.

The Liberty gets my vote. My DH and I were on it in August and loved the decor. The lighting is amazing.

I really liked the Glory. The ceiling outside the casino constantly changes colors. We were on the Miracle in June and it had some pretty parts, but for the most part was tacky (JMO)

I have been on Glory, Victory, Ecstacy and Elation. Elation was the most beautiful. Place a drink on one of the counter lights in the Jeckyl and Hyde room and watch it slowly change colors!

I was watching my videos last week and the Elation, even though I filmed it back in '98, still looked pretty darned good.Dare I say "elegant"?

I have sailed the Victory and the Miracle, I liked the decor on the Victory better than the Miracle (the dining room decor was very gaudy). Will be sailing on Liberty Jan 2007, Happy sailing all.

One more for the Pride. The Glory is beautiful with the colors everywhere, but still the Pride is the best lookin'. Inspiration was just ugly.

The Pride and Spirit are sisters, and in fact, both are sailing on the west coast.

Don't these designers understand we don't like "gaudy"?! We were apprehensive about taking the Valor. We aren't into red/white/blue colors and patriotic themes on our vacations. However, it was the only ship that was going to the places we wanted to go to......BUT, now with Wilma's damage, we may not be going to Cozumel....so much for our diving tour! The only other ship we've been on was the Conquest. It was pretty. I'd rather be on it than the Valor.

Just got off the Elation. It was in excellent condition and you could say it had an elegant decor with lots of wood tone, copper and browns. However, it was all dark colors, with lots of dark brown. I found that depressing and didn't enjoy it.
