cabin location

considering a ss cabin on the prom deck -- the cabins appear to be right next to the elevators-any noise problems that i should be aware of before making my decision

I think you must mean the Penthouse deck, not the Promenade deck. You should have no problems with noise. Book it and enjoy

I was right next to the elevator, 12 day cruise on the Mercury..Never heard a sound from elevator nor the passengers..It was great, I would book next to the elevator again in a heartbeat..Very convienant, the only problem was that I probably walked less, therefore gained more weight..
