E-rok Posted August 12, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2016 Hi Carnival Experts! I received a call from Carnival about an upgrade on my upcoming cruise on the Glory. Unfortunately, I was in a meeting and it went to voicemail. The agent left his name a number but he is now out until 8/15. The message indicated that there were very few upgrades available and I needed to act soon. I would absolutely love to surprise my wife with a nice cabin on a better deck. (We are currently in the basement of the Glory, I cheaped out this time). So here's my question: Can I call back and speak to any available agent about this upgrade offer or do I have to wait for this one individual and potential miss the opportunity to upgrade? No. There are multiple extensions and one person gets assigned a specific cruise. No way to know who has which. The same person doesn't even handle the same ship week after week. It's all random.
