For Alaska cruising with Denali land tour--they seem fussy about what sort of carry-on luggage you can have on the train and bus. Are there any overhead racks. Would a small roll-aboard be okay?

For Alaska cruising with Denali land tour--they seem fussy about what sort of carry-on luggage you can have on the train and bus. Are there any overhead racks. Would a small roll-aboard be okay?

No. The limiting factor is the train where you have to put the bag under the seat. We sent our rolling bags onto the ship. You only need something to carry items for use on the bus or train and essentials that need to stay with you.

On the bus now only small backpack would fit in the overhead area and not a lot of legroom for a roll on bag . Our luggage was in our rooms 10 to 15 mins after arriving.
