Panama Canal Cruise in Januiary

We are on the Miami to Los Angeles cruise in January. Has anyone taken this cruise and if so, what about all the days at sea. Were you occupied by activities sponsored by the ship. We did the Venice to Athens last year and had few free days, which were very welcome after all day in the field.

Thanmks for any answers. If I have posted incorrectly, it is because I am new to this posting stuff.:)

There is a large group of cruisers on this cruise, about 30+ of us, who also frequent the Oceania board on Yahoo.

We have done the Panama Canal cruise twice before, once on Radisson and once with Princess. This Oceania cruise stops at several places that will be new to us, and on the sea days you may find that Oceania doesn't keep you as busy as other cruise lines. Hopefully the weather will be warm (it should be in January) and we can get in lots of tanning and hanging out.

This will be our 4th Oceania cruise and we really enjoy everything about the service and the ships.

If you need the address for the Yahoo board, e-mail me directly.
