Bluesmom - Hurry and post - can't wait to hear about your cruise! We were on the Fantasy just before you Oct 20 thru 23rd and had a great time. The weather held up for us and we were wondering what would happen on the next cruise. Hope you had as much fun as we did!

Ok I'll jump in real quick also and will say that we had a wonderful time on the same cruise. Yes I met up with Vetgirl and her crew. I believe it will be safe to say that we all had a good time on the Yellowbird party boat to Pearl Island.. Yikes

a little bit to much Rum Punch for me.. We enjoyed the next day at Freeport and rented scooters, and wave runners. I might say the Scooters are a bit scary with the crazy drivers and the fact that you drive on the other side of the road.. Yikes again.!! But we relaxed on a very beautiful beach that we came across while exploring the island. We had a Suite and it was more than roomy for the 4 of us. And the balcony was awsome to look out and enjoy the view. Infact my DH said he will only cruise if we have one of them again.. OK Honey just keep working all that OT !!! I am looking forward to booking another one real soon. I won 600.00 in the casino:D , but gave it all back over the 4 days:( , the food was wonderful in the dining room and the buffets are also good. There was not much to do for my two teens, not many of them on board this time, but they enjoyed themselfs anyway. My 18 year old son fell in love with our dining room server "lacina"..lol And since we live only 15 minutes from Port Canaveral, they are going to meet up while she is docked here.

Soooo Cute !! He even bought her a rose. There are some things I will do differant next time.. Like not bringing as much clothes as I did...Oh let me also say that our room stewart Tia was awsome!!

He was on it.. We needed nothing as he provided everything we could have asked for... Awsome Job!! I wanted to take him home with me...lol Well that is it for my review..

Vetgirl and gang..It was nice to meet you all and Avary is beautiful... I have a good Pic of you Kim doing the "LIMBO":D

I hope you all arrived home safely...

O.K...sorry it took so long...here is the abbreviated version. During embarkation we were handed a piece of paper explaining the itinerary change due to Hurricane Wilma. No problem-we were happy to be going! A port authority employee looked straight at sister and told her he hoped she was in for a big adventure because we were all going to get one!!! The next day (Monday) was a complete nightmare. We woke up to very bad weather..no rain but lots of wind and very rough seas. We appeared to be anchored out in the middle of the Atlantic...correct me someone if I am wrong...but we were not moving at all! We were literally sitting out there bobbing around like a toy boat! We were on the Lido deck before lunch and watched while the ship rocked from side to side so much the the pool overflowed and people's drinks were flying and rolling all over the deck. I was getting a little freaked so we decided to go to lunch in the dining room. We sat down to eat and suddenly most of the dishes and glasses in the dining room crashed to the floor while the staff scurried to pick things up and keep people calm. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, water came pouring out of the ceiling RIGHT INTO THE DINING ROOM!!!! At this point I felt like I was on the Titanic and was starting to try remember where my muster station was! Our waitress was obviously upset but her training kept her making jokes like "look outside...say hi to Wilma!" I was over it and headed back to my cabin for my life jacket. Most people went to their cabins and didn't come out until Tuesday when things were much better. No more cruises in October for me!

Hello All Fantasy Cruisers,

We were on the Imagination before and during your cruise. In fact, we were docked back to back with the Fantasy while in Nassau, the second time.

We set sail on 10/20 for a 4 day cruise. Due to Wilma we could not get back into port until 10/26. There was not power in Miami or Ft. Lauderdale and the airports were still not open. We were offered by Carnival to get back on the ship for 3 more nights and jumped on it. We had no place else to go. Some of the other guests went to Miami airport to attempt a flight out but soon returned to the port.

We finally made it back on the boat and went back to Freeport and Nassau. We had a great time and all the crew members were the best we have ever had.

We also went through part of the hurricane but was heading in the opposite direction. We sat in the hot tub on the upper most aft part of the ship while getting 70+ mph winds. What a thrill. The wind was sucking the water of of the hot tub and stinging our faces. We did not stay out there long but we can say we did it!

We also did Pearl Island in Nassau. It was really nice but we liked the Blue Lagoon much better.

I will also post a complete sailing review when I get a chance.

Glenn
