RCCL Reduced my OBC by $50

The OBC that is provided by making a booking while on a cruise should never be lost, regardless of a price adjustment. We even switched a 7 day to a 9 day, which had a cheaper price and got the increase in the credit because it is the standard terms of the benefits of booking a cruise while on a cruise. We also got the increase when switching one from the 7 to a 17 day too.

Thanks!!!! This info will definitely help my TA fight the battle should the price drop again - and I think it will!!

I've not been able to see OBC on my booking online. However, I do see it on Royal's Guest Copy of the booking confirmation. You can request this from whoever booked your cruise.

Thank you, I'll ask my agent.

This seems like the sort of thing that should be available to view in one's booking!!

I like to take my OBC for booking onboard at the time of booking, that way they can't mess with it later on.....I've already spent it.....:)

But they can mess with your money, by reducing the deposit on the booked cruise if you downgrade.
