Bollinge Posted October 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2005 We have been offered cabin 8025, classed as B5 balcony, with "restricted view". The view is obscured by lifeboats. With this kind of cabin and the overhang from the deck above, we don't expect to be basking constantly in the sun, but how "restricted" is the view? tandemtourer Posted October 29, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 29, 2005 I'm quite sure you will be right behind a lifeboat. However you will have a lot more natural light than if you were in a hull balcony. If you call Cunard and ask what how much your view is obstructed they will give you a percentage. From what I recall yours is probably 90% obstructed but you will be able to see the sky and a little bit of the sea. Remember, that cabin was once the third most expensive of the Britannia Restaurant rooms. Regardless of the view you are in a great location.
