Can you change your cruise package??

First time cruiser here. I booked my cruise a few weeks back using the Early Saver deal. Now, I noticed that they are offering an On Board Credit sale for the same price per person. Can I call Carnival and switch my package? What, if any, ramifications can occur if I do this? I have not paid off my cruise yet. Thanks for any info!!

There is a $50 pp fee for changing early saver. If the OBC is more than $100 (assuming your cabin is for 2), it's worth the change.

Thanks! The credit is only $50 per cabin, so wouldn't be worth it for us since we have 3 people.

With Early Saver you are entitled to price adjustments up to 2 days before sailing. If the price is the same and the only difference is the OBC you can price match without any negative ramifications.

 

 

ETA: once early saver always early saver no matter the rate you price match to.

If you are not changing anything and you only want to price match to the current promotion there is no change fee.

If you booked under the ES/ reduced deposit be prepared to pay the full deposit to be able to make the change.
